Wire transfer, credit card (Visa/MasterCard/AmEx), and Alipay for academic accounts. Payment is held in escrow until the buyer confirms receipt and product integrity — the same trust model used by Addgene and Science Exchange.
Sellers receive settlement automatically 7 business days after the buyer confirms receipt. Payment by bank wire or PayPal. A monthly statement shows units sold, gross revenue, platform fee, ambassador commission, and net payout.
Buyers may open a dispute within 7 days of receipt. Heklala mediates based on COA documentation and lot records. Refund/replacement is issued from the escrow account — sellers do not pay out until the dispute is resolved.
All plasmid/construct sequence data is shared only with verified buyers under a Material Transfer Agreement. Seller identity and lab affiliation are visible to maintain trust, but contact details are never shared without consent.
Heklala invoices include applicable VAT/GST for buyers in those regions. Import duties for cross-border orders are the buyer's responsibility — we provide HS codes and commercial invoices for smooth customs clearance.
